Julie got Married!

Our third and final road trip to CA this summer was for my cousin, Julie's wedding.  We grew up down the street from each other- just a year apart in school.  She met an awesome guy named Tim while living in the bay area- we couldn't be more happy for them.

The kids swam about 4 hours a day in Grandma and Grandpa's pool.
My mom and I called dibs on throwing Julie a bridal shower-  isn't she gorgeous?

The next night we got to go up to Fremont for her wedding dinner-  the Mexican food was delicious!
I can't believe Brad and I got married here 6 1/2 years ago!
Julie got married on my parents anniversary so that was pretty special-  47 years for them!
They did it!

4 of us girl cousins

The reception was beautiful- I loved her colors- peach, grey, and ivory.

Her dad dipped her and she lost the veil!
Then the dance party began-  and the bride was out there the whole time!  I loved it!

Then they left!

Ogden Temple Open House

With it being summer, we finally got to have Kate and Elle both come over for a sleep over!  We took them to the Ogden temple open house-  it was really neat for the kids to see inside the beautiful temple.  Lizzy was not a fan of the booties over her shoes.

When we got home, the power was out- which the girls thought was so cool!  Luckily it came on just before bed time!

This is the Place

Maggie and Lizzy got to visit their cousin Kate at "This is the Place" where she worked and volunteered all summer.  She really looked like a Pioneer!

Monte L. Bean Museum

I manage my Dad's BYU condos so one day I had to go to Provo, so the girls and I made a trip of it.  We had been excited to go to the Bean museum- it had been closed for remodeling for a long time!

And of course we ended with ice cream from the Creamery!
