Rib Fest 2009
During the weekend of the 4th of July, Naperville has its Annual Rib Fest. Brad and I were really excited to go........until we got there. It was a lame county fair. However, there were excellent ribs.
The ribs were delicious. Brad has always been a fan of ribs, but I've never had good ones like this before. So now I'm a fan. Oh, I almost forgot- we also saw a ridiculously awesome magic show! Notice the assistant. She posed like that the whole time!
On the actual 4th of July, we went over to Brent's house. Our cousins, Doug, Heather, and their kids came in from the city too. We had a bbq and then did fire works out front. Actually the ones Brent bought were more like "smoke works." I think Brent was kind of disappointed. But, we were thoroughly entertained. The kids had a lot of fun riding bikes, playing with snappers, and jumping through the mass amounts of smoke. It was a great day!
