So, the last couple of months have been good. Since the last post, we have had quite a few visitors. My parents and my sister Stephanie came out for Baby Sofia's blessing. It is so fun to live close to family- you get double the visitors! Then the week after that, Brad's parents stopped by for a few days on their way home from their mission in Ukraine. It was really cool to see them- but how weird is it that my in-laws were out of the country for a year and a half- we were only married 3 1/2 months when they left!
Brad's friend Grant and his wife and son came to the Ernst & Young training that took place in St. Charles, IL- which is 13 miles from us! Jennie had gotten tickets to Oprah so she was super excited to come. However, Oprah cancelled on us two days before. But it was still fun to hang out with them and play games every night. We will miss them when they are in India!
We spent all day Halloween (9-5) in a birthing class. It actually went by pretty fast. Let's just say, after this class I am a little freaked out. Can I really do this? I have to, I guess. We are excited, but I find it hard imagining what it will all be like. I just can't believe it.
Last week, I had an emergency root canal, which is always fun. I have the worst teeth. And then a guy at work came to work with the swine flu and passed it to me. Thanks a lot.... So, I went to the doctor and was bed-ridden for about 5 days. I even missed the Primary Program- I am the Primary Pianist so that is may one big thing I work for every year and I had to call a sub last minute. But, alas, I am better now and have passed the sickness to my husband.
So now, I don't have much planned except for this baby. 3 weeks- 4 max. The doctor said he would induce my on the 9th if she hasn't come yet. So, now my days consist of going to work and putting my feet up. I feel so huge- I can't bend over without holding my breath. I have also been trying to get a few things ready- washing clothes, packing the hospital bag. It just doesn't feel real. But I'm sure it will very soon......

I can't believe you got a root canal and then swine flu while pregnant. Boo! I'm sorry. I'm excited for you guys. I don't know about anyone else, but having a baby still doesn't seem real for me. Every now and again it hits me that Henry is mine and I'm THE mom! Don't worry about labor and delivery, you'll do great! One of the best parts is, you know it can't last forever! The VERY best part is you get a cute baby from it!
Bummer on all that stuff on top of being super pregnant. I felt the same way before labor, no idea what to expect. Everyone is different and you will be fine.
I didn't know you had a root canal. lame. out stupid callister teeth.
