Pictures from Feb- March 2013

Get ready for major catch-up.  I have slacked on posting and need to catch up before I forget everything.  This is my only form of journaling.  I wish I kept a better record of things- but oh well! Pictures are worth a thousand words, right?
In February-  Maggie was introduced to the Barbie Movie-  "The 12 Dancing Princesses"  and life was never the same for Maggie.  She dressed up at least once a day and watched the movie and acted it out and danced along.  Making dinner was much easier during this phase.
She decided to teach a piano lesson after dancing one day.
Oh, the different outfits-  we have so many hand me downs from Maggie's cousins-  she has plenty of leotards to share!

Lizzy was the constant audience for Maggie's dancing.
Cute cousins after a Princess Birthday Party.
Maggie was always so confused that Sofia is older than her-  "but I'm bigger Mom....."
Love these selfies she would leave on my phone and I would have to delete later.....sometimes 40 at a time.

 Yet another dance costume...

One day she had to wear ALL her dress-ups at the same time.  With her princess necklace, of course.

I already miss these days.  How is she growing up so fast?

Cousin Visit in Chicago- Feb 2013

My sister Cinda and her two youngest girls came to visit the Callisters and us in February.  We had so much fun!  We went in the city, visited the skydeck, the American Girl Store, and ate at Giordanno's.  Unfortunately, the Taylors got sick while they were here- but that didn't let us stop having fun.  We went to the Dupage Children's Museum, Airtastic, Monkey Joe's, Potbelly's, Chik-fil-a, and a park by the riverwalk.  Fun, fun, fun!

Yes, she had a fit in the glass box.  Oh, three year olds!

Christmas 2012

Well, it is almost March and I am just getting around to posting about Christmas- oh my!

But this Christmas was so awesome-  we didn't have to travel at all-  we had visitors come to us!  It was so much fun- thanks Cami, Tim, and Charlie for gracing us with your presence.  One of the highlights was going into the city for the Christkindl German Market-  my bro-in-law served his mission in Germany and his mom is from Austria- so I think he was a little excited to go eat some authentic food.  He may have even cried tears of joy ;-)
It was super cold-  we know how to layer and bundle up!

The shops were amazing-  our 2012 ornaments came from this one!

Eating a delicious lunch!

What- a picture of all four of us?  AMAZING!
We had to thaw out at Brad's office-  Maggie loved collecting the highlighters and post-it notes (like mother, like daughter)

Charlie was happy to be able to crawl around in Brad's building-
Lizzy was a perfect angel during the whole ordeal.

Christmas Eve-  Dad gave us all a very special gift- an original cast iron wagon like my Grandpa's in this story:  http://www.lds.org/ensign/1994/12/mormon-journal/the-wagon-pulled-us-together?lang=eng&query=jerry+callister

And my dad hand painted them all for 7 of his children-  I was so surprised!  My dad is good at keeping secrets.

 We successfully wore them out.

Christmas Eve- ready to go to bed after all of our hard work!

Santa was good to Maggie- she loves to shop at Trader Joe's with the little carts!
Cute Cousins-  they are only 7 months apart.
Cami looks way too good on Christmas morning.
