2 months

We went to Lizzy's two month appointment last week.  Here are her stats:

13lb, 10.5oz, 95%

24.5 in long, 95%

head-16.75  (off the charts like Maggie)

                                             

She has been smiling so much lately- but it's hard to catch.  I'm trying to talk to her and tickle her cheek and then hurry to get my hand out of the way to take a picture.  But I got a half smile ;-)  And she has been cooing when I talk to her.  It is one of the best things about being a mom.  

                                     

This picture makes me laugh.  She is really such a happy baby-  I have just been bad at taking pictures like I did with the first child.   And I do dress her in cute outfits, but she is a spitter so we change multiple times a day.  By the end of the day, she is just sporting a onesie.  Lizzy is so happy and is my easier baby of the two so far!  Happy 2 months Lizzy!

Sisters- Loving that Maggie's hair is getting long enough for pig-tails.  Although her friend and her were arguing about whether they were "pig" or "pony" tails.

Utah 2012

We had a great time in Utah for two weeks.  Lizzy got to meet everyone in my family and Brad's family except for his parents, who are in their last year as Mission President in Armenia .  

                            Lizzy slept so well in everyone's arms.  Her cousin, Lauren was a pro!

 Brad and Maggie swam for hours and hours.  

 We were also able to bless Lizzy with Brad's whole family (minus parents again).  But even both sets of his grandparents were able to be there.  My parents and the Maglebys made it.  It was a very special day!

 My niece, Taylor, is going to be a Senior- I can't believe it!  She is obviously awesome with kids.

 Brad's only sister, Katie, gave Lizzy that cute yellow dress she is wearing.

 Lizzy loves her Grandma- come back!  We miss you in Chicago!

The best part of going to Utah?  Maggie had the TIME OF HER LIFE.  Brad took her to his family reunion- up in the mountains of Heber.  So she was definitely worn out by the time we left!

One Month

I cannot believe Lizzy is already a month old!  We went to the doctor this morning and she is growing like a champ!

10 lb, 12 oz  (85 %)

15.75 head (off the charts ;-))

 And Maggie loves to craft lately!

Happy 4th of July and 3 weeks!

This might have been our most uneventful 4th.  Brad and Maggie went to Centennial Beach first thing in the morning but it was so hot and they had to park far away so I don't think it was very refreshing in 100 degree weather.  Lizzy and I stayed home- we have been hit with Thrush- worst thing ever!  But we are surviving.  At least the girls looked cute and festive.  We ended the day watching fireworks on tv- it was too hot for me to be outside.  Happy 4th of July- can't wait to see the firework show next year!

I went to the hospital for a lactation appointment to help me get better faster- they weighed Lizzy and she is now 10 lbs, 5 oz-  she is chubbin' up!  And she took in 4.5 oz during the feed!  She's a little piggy.  And we sure love her around here.

She got to take her first bath- no more sponge baths.  She likes these kind a lot more.

Two Weeks!

Newborn clothes officially don't fit!
